Portrait of the Youngest Girl 2 and Portrait of the Youngest Girl 3 is currently on display with the Best of 2011 show sponsored by Ohio Design Craftsmen.

I worked with the Bexley Cassingham Elementary School 5th grade class this 2011 winter term on batik. We cut out sponges to use as stamps. The students learned how to stamp so the wax would penetrate the fabric. We dyed the fabric, removed the wax and over dyed the fabic again after another wax layer was stamped on the fabric. We used the fabric as covers for handmade books. What a fun time! Bexley 5th graders ROCK!
