I believe fabric is a fundamental feminine transfer material. It is a nurturing medium. In all of history, women have swaddled their babies in some sort of fabric to comfort them and provide safety. While a mother snuggles her swaddled baby, she transfer love, hope, joy and warmth into the child. We carry this need for acceptance, for hope and love into our adult lives.

I am exploring this energy transfer in my work. How can I translate human emotions in a manner that can make us feel again? My work seems to be guided sometimes by some force that teaches me how to see. Then it becomes my job to see and show others. I touch every piece of fabric. I know every detail of the finished piece. I transfer my experiences into my art and in the end, I hope I have taught you something about yourself, made you react to an emotion or given you an insight into how you can become a more thoughtful human being. I hope that my work can somehow help to heal our hearts individually and our planet as a whole.
